Ratafia is a blending of old brandies of Champagne and of “must at the end of the press”. A passage in oak barrels give it this strong colour and wooded flavour.
Very delicious and fruity on the palate, a full-bodied wine with a long finish. The final is concentrated and slightly spicy.
This ratafia can be tasted with fried froid gras, chees with lots of character or chocolate desserts.
